ENGCOMM offers a great opportunity by providing a platform for corporations and students to network. Bringing university students and businesses from varying industries and sizes can lead to long lasting connections. These connections can lead to future career opportunities for students and recruitment possibilities for corporations.

The structure and degree of difficulty of the competition allows for talented individuals to surface from each university. By participating, they can attract the attention of employers in need of key personnel. These candidates will not only be able to express their unique skills but will also display their acuity in a team setting.

ENGCOMM adheres to strengthen the communication channels between engineering and business. The competition’s structure provides a setting in which students will be able to develop valuable interdisciplinary communication skills.

As part of our ENGCOMM family, we maintain a database of all our students’ working resumes. By becoming a partner with us, you will have access to our Annual Talent Bank as well as the opportunity to network with all of the students and volunteers involved with ENGCOMM .

Being an international competition, we play host to numerous universities from around the world. By partnering with us, your brand will be promoted though online and offline channels. These include, but are not limited to, banners, promo items, social media and our website.

Community involvement

As a registered not-for-profit student organization, ENGCOMM partners with major student associations representing Engineering and Commerce at a provincial and national level. By partnering with us, you will be directly involved with the development of future leaders of tomorrow, which makes this a great opportunity to get involved with a grassroots community movement.

  • Siemens was most impressed by the unique combination of skills that ENGCOMM provides from having Engineering and Commerce students working in collaboration on corporate cases. This competition emulates real business life situations and allows students to have a holistic approach on the type of solutions they will have to generate in their professional life.

The Concordia ENGCOMM team was extremely professional creating a high quality competition allowing development and exposure of future talents. For the reasons above, the energy, the passion and the dedication of the students, Siemens is proud to support this great case competition.

  • I worked with Concordia University's Engineering and Commerce Case Competition (ECCC) event. I was one of the sponsors, and [the ECCC] team put on a first-rate event. It was incredible -- better than most commercial events that I have attended over the years. I'm looking forward to V2.0 this year!
